Alternative Provision Support in Wirral
A Supportive Learning Environment for Every Child
Study Space Academy provides Alternative Provision in Wirral for primary and secondary pupils who require a personalised, confidence-building approach to education. Based in Eastham, we support children and young people across the Wirral and surrounding areas including Bebington, Bromborough, Heswall, West Kirby and Birkenhead.
Our Alternative Provision is designed for pupils with SEND, for pupils who may be struggling in mainstream education, experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), facing barriers to learning, or requiring short-term reintegration support. We provide a calm, structured and nurturing environment where children feel safe, understood and capable again.
Why Schools & Families Choose Study Space Academy
We believe Alternative Provision should do more than provide a placement. It should rebuild belief, restore engagement and create a clear pathway forward. We provide individualised, compassionate and personalised learning plans that supports emotional, social and academic learning. We are a calm, structured and confidence-first environment and we believe every child has the right to an education fit for them.
Our Vision
We dream of a provision where every child feels calm, confident and capable. A space to be celebrated and where a sense of belonging is at the heart of learning.
We nurture the child as a whole; their emotional and social needs, their academic needs. We want them to grow in resilience and empathy, helping them to understand the world around them.
We aim for every child who enters into our care, to be ready to leave us: equipped with the tools and confidence to believe in themselves, to reconnect purposefully within their community and show kindness and empathy to others.
Our AP Offers
Alternative Provision that Puts the Child at the Centre
We believe every child deserves an education that meets them where they are and places them at the centre of their learning journey. At Study Space Academy, we provide a calm, safe and structured environment where children feel understood, supported and ready to re-engage with learning. We are committed to building confidence first, because we know that when a child feels capable, progress follows naturally.
Our experienced teachers create personalised learning plans tailored to each child’s needs, interests and barriers, with a strong focus on rebuilding core skills in maths, English and phonics. Using practical and visual approaches, we make learning accessible, engaging and achievable again. Beyond academic progress, we nurture self-belief, resilience and a genuine sense of belonging, so every child leaves feeling more confident, capable and ready to take their next steps.
We offer three flexible pathways to support every child’s journey, depending on their needs and stage.
