At Study Space Academy, we believe every child deserves an education that recognises their individual strengths, needs and potential. We take a personalised, child-centred approach to learning, tailoring support to help each student grow in confidence, feel successful and re-engage with education in a way that works for them.
All of our tutors are experienced teachers who are passionate about creating engaging, creative and supportive learning experiences. We provide a calm, safe and nurturing environment where children feel seen, understood and encouraged to thrive. Our specialist learning support is designed to meet a wide range of needs, including children with SEND, anxiety-based school avoidance, gaps in learning and those requiring alternative provision.
Through personalised learning plans, confidence-building strategies and strong relationships, we help students rebuild trust in their abilities, reconnect with learning and successfully reintegrate with their peers, school and wider education journey.
At Study Space Academy, we are committed to providing a different approach to learning outside of the traditional classroom. By building self-belief, nurturing resilience and celebrating every small step of progress, we empower children to develop the skills, confidence and mindset needed to take on whatever life may have in store for them.
We are based in Eastham, we support children and young people across the Wirral and Cheshire: surrounding areas including Bebington, Bromborough, Heswall, West Kirby and Birkenhead.

At Study Space Academy, we provide a calm, safe and structured environment where children feel understood, supported and ready to re-engage with learning. We are committed to building confidence first, because we know that when a child feels capable, progress follows naturally.
Our experienced teachers create personalised learning plans tailored to each child’s needs, interests and barriers, with a strong focus on rebuilding core skills in maths, English and phonics. Using practical and visual approaches, we make learning accessible, engaging and achievable again. Beyond academic progress, we nurture self-belief, resilience and a genuine sense of belonging, so every child leaves feeling more confident, capable and ready to take their next steps.

At Study Space Academy our vision is to transform educational experiences through a child-centred approach that places emotional, social and academic needs of each young person at the heart of everything we do. Every child deserves more than a one-size-fits-all education. That is why our support is inclusive, to meeting the needs of each individual child.
Our Alternative Provision is intentionally built to provide approaches to learning that are not the same as traditional settings; we provide unique experiences for each child using inclusive practices to empower young people to build confidence, skills and self-awareness so they can thrive in school, in their community, and beyond.
SEND Learners
Our curriculum caters to pupils with learning difficulties, focusing on functional skills, communication, emotional well-being, confidence, and independence. It emphasises achievable aspirations for their transition to adulthood and ensures skill progression throughout their education. Unlike traditional methods, the approach recognises that these pupils learn differently.

Primary Offer
Primary Learners
At primary age, children are developing the independence and learning how to understand more complex emotional and social needs. Being able to express feelings and improve self awareness is key to a positive development later on. This offer aims to promote confidence across a range of emotional, social and academic skills, and support a child in feeling successful.

Girls Only Offer
Girls Only Programme
Our Girls Only Programme has been designed for girls experiencing barriers to education, including emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), anxiety, low confidence, friendship difficulties, and challenges associated with the transition to secondary school.
Delivered within a calm, supportive and nurturing environment, the programme provides targeted intervention that focuses on rebuilding confidence, developing emotional resilience, and increasing engagement with learning. Through carefully planned activities, personalised support and positive relationship building, girls are encouraged to rediscover their strengths, develop coping strategies, and re-engage with education at a pace that feels achievable.
We understand that many girls can mask their difficulties, making it harder for schools and families to recognise when additional support is needed. Our programme provides a safe space where girls feel heard, valued and understood, enabling them to develop the confidence and skills required to participate successfully in educational settings.
Where appropriate, programmes are designed with reintegration in mind, working collaboratively with schools, families and other professionals to support a gradual and sustainable return to education.

Our Pricing
Services
Part-time placements up to 18 hours per week, per child.
Provision day:
Secondary Placements: 9am - 12pm
Primary Placements: 12.30pm - 3.30pm
Academic interventions: Maths, English, PSHE, other curriculum subjects
Other opportunities: therapeutic experiences, sports offers, forest school, horse riding & art therapy
